Squirrels
For a squirrel, the attic and chimney are his favorite spots in your house. These rodents have a destructive nature and can soon destroy wires and woodwork in your house. The sooner you get them out of your home, the lesser the damage. You may also unwittingly invite these rodents into your house when you leave your pet food lying about. Squirrels can feed on your dog's leftovers or the bird seed in the bowl.
To have just a handful of these little rodents in your attic can be disastrous as they can chew through just about anything. It could be the insulation of your wiring, siding or roof. Gray squirrels have their day timed like humans do - they leave “their home” or your attic during the day to hunt for food, and then return back late in the evening. This is why you hear no sound from them during the day. These squirrels can chew through your Vinyl’s siding, thin gauge aluminum and even the lead flashing. Flying squirrels however, are active late at night, especially when they have bats for company. If your house has a stone foundation like older houses do, then your house is a magnet for red squirrels.
Squirrel pest control is the answer to keeping these noisy and damage-causing rodents away. Don’t believe people who prescribe coyote or fox’s urine as a solution to your squirrel problem. The only things the above will do are cause a stench, and create an even more unhygienic environment in your home. The only way to remove these squirrels is to get these rodents out of the house, and then seal the hole that they get in from. A spray is a temporary solution as it only scares the squirrels away, but doesn't take care of the clean up. The best option is always to hire a squirrel pest control because they not only free your house of these stinky and noisy squirrels, but also clean your house of the urine and feces.
